Not having ever had anything more than an HO AFX track at the age of 11,
I was quite impressed with your web site (especially) your track
contest.
You have truly inspired me and motivated me into a pastime that I, my
family, and many of my friends have started to truly enjoy.
I am now completely "sucked in" and in 2 months time I have already
purchased 2 full sets, plus extra loose track, as well as about 10
additional cars . I truly thank you for the heads up into such an
involving and intriguing hobby. I do look forward to purchasing from you
on line, however to date most of my purchases have been spontaneous.
I did want to include a photo of my work in progress track layout. It is
a scalextric 2 lane... I've added a timer, as well as placed it on 4 by
14 layout due to limited space. However I do have an additional 6 feet
to come with a planned double parabolic/corkscrew dropping down 6 inches
below the table surface then leading out blindly into the 20 foot
straightaway. It's on the floor with casters for mobility and ease of
reach for the little ones.
