I'd like to submit my homemade Sprint car in your HO car contest
. As far as how I built the car, I started with a Tyco 440-X2 chassis,
lowered it and dewound the armature. Then I bent a roll cage, from
1 piece of wire, to form the basic shape of the body, to fit the chassis.
I covered it with aluminum from a beer can, made and mounted the
wings on an old foam tire for flexibility, painted and clear coated it.
All but the driver, compartment and chrome engine are homemade.
