This is a playing mantis 71 Roadrunner Body. The decaling on this car is
what makes it special. After much research into Richard Petty's cars, this
particular car is decaled exactly like King Richards 1971 Plymouth
Roadrunner. The only decals not on the car, yet, are the associate sponsor
decals that were placed on the front fenders. The drivers window net was
sanded from behind to a paper thin thickness and the holes in the webbing
were opened with an exacto knife. Power is by G-Plus. I think it's a great
looking scale model low-buck racer. I have already started on a 72 Plymouth
the first year for STP Sponsorship of Petty's car. This has been a great
experience in my hobby and I am astounded by all of the after-market
components available that gives a novice like me the opportunity to build
one off's equally as well as some of the expert modelers.
