Hello!
I'd like to submit my Lifelike Sprint Car for your contest, into the
HO-scale cars category.
This car is based on a LifeLike FastTracker chassis. The chassis has been
cleaned and tuned, with aftermarket brushes and SuperTire silicone rear
tires installed. The body is a Heister Styrene, which starts as a solid
white shell. After cutting and shaping, the body and wings received Testors
Model Master "Boyds" pearlescent enamels for the primary coloring. The
sponsor decals are taken from 1/10 RC car sheets, and were the small,
leftover stickers from some ancient project. The driver's safety mesh is
aluminum screen and the wing surfaces are plated with Real Metal Foil's
"bare aluminum" product.
I understand that you will use only one photograph for the contest, but may
post others of the same car. For the contest, I submit the photo entitled
"LLsprint5". The other photos will give some idea of the progression of
construction, and an alternate view of the car.
