Hi Frank,
Bought this used Monogram model of a '79 Mustang notchback from Slot Car
World and thought I'd show you how it turned out. I was able to graft part
of the model chassis onto a Carrera chassis so I could retain the snap-on
feature of the model kit. The wheel wells needed a slight dremmel grind to
make fit. The decals were self designed and the car was painted Testors
Lime Gold. Also scavenged dash from model kit and driver from broken
Carrera body.
Coming from the H.O. scene, this is my first experience with 1/32 scale and
I might be hooked. Especially like the new U.S.A. street cars and Trans Am
cars making a debut this year!
