Scratchbuilt SCX Ferrari 333SP for the new contest (1:32 Scale)
Hello Frank,
I hope you remember that I ordered decals for my Ferrari 333SP Projekt at
Your shop in august. Well, everything went fine and in september I got my decals. The Ferrari
is finished, now and I want to send you a picture to show you how nice it looks, now.
I showed several phases of the working steps on a german internet homepage
(22 pictures). I wrote a text about the construction of the model and I wrote that I got the
decals from Your shop. Today someone sent me a mail and told me,
that You have a special contest for selfmade slotcars. Well, I visited Your homepage and I think, that
I shall join the contest. I add two fotos of my Ferrari 333SP to this mail. Do you need special informations?
The rims are taken from a Fly Porsche 911 GT1. The car has real working headlights
working with goldcap-transistors. The headlight glasses are made from special
dentist plastic. The driver is a Fly figure. The steering wheel is from a
1:43 scale kit featuring an car of the 60´s so the wheelsize is correct. A crossbeam is added to the
car at the backside of the cockpit. There are windscreens between the
cockpit edge and the sidely crossbeams on the left and the right side. Exhaustpipes are made from
metalhoses wich are used for electric installation. The whole cockpit,
parts of the rear wing and the flap on the airbox are made from polystyrol plastic. For this cockpit the
original scx motor was too big. I changed it for a mabucchi rabbit motor.
Ok, that´s all for the first. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.
