Here's my entry into the 1:32 car contest. What do you think???
The whole story:
I got this 1:32 scale Aston Martin DB5 kit by Airfix off eBay and decided to
see if I could transform it into a Slot Car. Using an extra 1:43 scale Artin
car for running gear, I got out the dremmel and started cutting.
I found a 1:32 scale Viper metal body kit by Testors with axles and tires
that work great on this car. I painted the body Grape Pearl, and all that's
left are the small details, windshield, and interior. This car runs GREAT! I
about fell off my chair when I first tested it. It's not the fastest, but
it's smooth and quiet. It goes fast enough to fly off the track if I'm not
careful, but the stock Artin magnet holds it down nicely. Won't win any
races, but it sure is fun to drive!
